Ctrl A (Select All) Not Working!!!

Hi

My CTRL A select all isn't working. CTRL C copy, V paste, X cut are all ok.

I'm using Windows 8 on a Surface Pro 3

Oh, and it's happening in all programs - tried it in both chrome and notepad.

Help please?

Do you have any other applications running in background that might be using that key combination for something else?
