Hi People,

I have an issue where I have to test Cubase 5 and one of our in-house applications, when it does a sound capture it has corrupted sound.

Now I have sourced Cubase 5, but how do I make any sound come out of it :p:o

Are there any sample packs, or a basic sound clip (that is created in Cubase 5)

I have no idea how to use this software, please help? :)

Thanks

Mik

You have to set the sound devices in the options, first load the ALSA configuration tool from the start menu and detect the devices.

What are you trying to capture ? if you are trying to capture the output of the speakers opposed to a mic or midi input then that is different.

Use sound forge or audacity and google "stereo mix"

There might be sample packs included in the retail version but not much. You can import wav files and audio files by loading the media pool from the menu and then choosing import. It is best used with MIDI hardware or VST instruments such as native instruments and waves etc.
