I don't think so, I believe the PhysX support is supposed to come in the PhysX application drivers rather than the forceware drivers.
 
Does this include PhysX support for G80 chips? My friend is really looking forward to trying it.

Doesn't include any PhysX support, you need the PhysX drivers for that, these just support the CUDA which the PhysX drivers are done in, so when you install these drivers, you can install and use the PhysX drivers, where as with drivers that don't support the CUDA, you can't, as the PhysX drivers don't work without the CUDA. :)

You can install these drivers on G80's yes, but you wont get PhysX, not until Nvidia do the PhysX drivers for the G80's, they are coming soon.

So there is no point as I already have the "NVIDIA PhysX" installed so I'm waiting on a new Driver or and "NVIDIA PhysX" build ?.

I know the G80 drivers are due in July (so they claim).

Why would I want Cuda (i cant code etc).

I simply want PhysX, so guess that's to the install of the Nvidia PhysX and a GPU driver which don't support G80 yet.

The PhysX drivers which will make use of the GPU require CUDA GPU drivers. That is why you would want it. The Physx drivers are coming soon, probably within the next month or so.

CUDA is good for a lot of reasons, there are some very interesting applications coming up and already available. If you don't care that's fine but CUDA is some very interesting technology and can be used for at lot more than PhysX, including Folding@Home.
 
LOL yeh, CUDA is the vehicle which enables the PhysX drivers to work.
It is essentialy a technology that enables applications written in C+ to run onboard a graphics card, so in therory it could be used for any computing task, Physics being just one example.

Saying you dont want CUDA but want PhysX is like saying "I want a car, but not one of those cruddy ones that has wheels on it" :D
