Picked up the new motor tonight, gave it a quick splash and grabbed a few pictures, sorry with camera phone, after full clean will do a proper photo shoot...lol

So after some looking around and trying a few cars I came back more or less to my original idea of the SEAT...... Though I didn't get a K1 with it's price premium, but this one as a Cupra (same car) which had the BTCC/K1 body kit fitted by the dealer from new..... (Saving me about 3-4K :eek: )
Plus this one is fully loaded, 19" alloys, Plus originals 18's, New BIOS ;-)) Full custom leather retrim in Red!..... FSH, 1 owner, 1st MOT done today, 3 Weeks of original warranty left, New clutch and DMF fitted yesterday.

It's not (quite) an RS Focus, but then I could buy two of these for one of them !!! So much better bang per buck :D
 
The wheels were power coated to a colour match the guy wanted, I think gloss black would have given a better/nice contrast..... The finish is actually excellent, they're not cleaned, as I didn't want to get my nice clean new sponge ****** with brake dust !!.... LOL.
 
Well they are grey, little different to the body colour........It looks ok in the flesh ;-)
I have the originals, which I plan to use in the winter with winter tyres on, so might get these redone in gloss black at the time.... undecided, will see how it looks after a while of owning it....

The front number plate annoys me most, will look to put a standard shape one one, of minimum size.

Minimum legal size - normal size you mean? If so, great. :)

I actually don't mind the wheels, not sure on the kit though. The front will look a lot better with a normal plate on it for sure.

Do they do legal plates that fill the rear bumper cut out a bit better than a rectangular shaped plate?
 
Looks like a great car, but there's something a little off about the kit and wheels that makes it seem a little cheaper than it is. I do like the colour and general shape though, looks mean!
 
Wonder how it would look with the black parts of the front bumper painted the same colour as the car? It'd be a bit less in-your-face imo.
 
Really does nothing for me, reverse sensors like like they are falling out and the faux-plastic-grilles are really blatant. Left tailpipe looks a little low?

Just does not seem to look quite right :(

Sort the alloys out, consider a drop to lose the 4x4 stance and I think it will look much much better :)
 
What do you mean by new BIOS? (Remapped?)

Quite like the K1 kit on these, but agree with the majority (quelle surprise!) about sorting out the alloys colour.
