Watched the first episode last night.

It's a strange concept. Kind of like a zombie horror mixed with The Cannon ball run.

Basically, London is under curfew due to a mysterious zombie horror that comes out and feeds after dark. There is a way to escape the city to a new life on some kind of paradise island, and that way is to win a deadly race that takes place at night.

Decent cast list includes Sean Bean, Miranda Richardson and Billy Zane. First episode set the scene nicely for a couple of the participants, and I presume we'll learn much more about the others later. But after the first episode, it certainly looks like its going to be a great watch over the next few weeks.

First episode is up now. I really enjoyed it.

When I heard him on the radio advert for this, I automatically assumed it was an O2 advert.

Its got that bad with sean bean were just left when hes exiting a show lol

No, it hasn't "got that bad with Sean Bean" at all. Him dying in movies and TV shows is a very long running gag. In fact, one of the questions in a pub quiz we entered not long back was "Name five shows or movies in which Sean Bean doesn't die?"

Other than Sharpe and Bravo Two Zero I've got nothing

Watched the first episode of this earlier, and as soon as I saw a poor CGI McLaren 570S pull off some manoeuvres that would've left Automan baffled and then shrug off bursts of .50cal from a Ma Deuce with nowt but a cracked windscreen I had to laugh. Don't think I'll be watching the second episode.

2nd ep was pretty canny, but it's verging on the stupid in places
firing a rocket launcher backwards? don't think so, did he not even remember which way he put the projectile in?
they made nothing of the fact that the monsters should have swarmed to that beacon too.
that was the longest "3 minutes until reinforcements" eeeever.
