Hello,
Riddle me this please -
3 x 3pin case fans that can run at 1600RPM
1 x 4pin CPU fan that can run at at 1200RPM
All fans are plugged into the PWM hub and the hub is plugged into the CPU PWM header
Fan1 on the Hub is connected to the CPU fan which is the "Reporting fan"
Because the reporting fan can only reach 1200RPM does this mean that the hub that will only tell the case fans to max out at 1200RPM?
And what about the other way around, if the CPU fan was capable of 1600RPM but the case fans 1200RPM, would the hub tell the case fans to run at 1600RPM which is beyond their spec?
Thanks
