Curious Robin and 135L

Bought Canon 135 recently just to challenge myself as it's not a focal length I typically use. First outing was for last month's 'Autumn' comp and today whilst getting ready to photograph my dog ratting on the farm a Robin flew in to my little studio.

Was impressed with hastily shot result. Approx. 80% crop.

I like Robins despite how often you see them

I've had them get close quite a few times. On this occasion the little guy/girl sat on the opposite end of the bench that I was on and I managed to turn slowly and get this with my 100mm (on crop)

Brilliant, aren't they :-)

One has established a symbiotic relationship with my dog. As she digs down rabbit burrows the robin swoops down to feast on the unearthed bugs with me just a few feet away.

Found another I liked of same robin. It's perched on mate's sculpture in the studio.
