Current AM2 cpu's

Has anyone bought an am2 4200+ recently, want to know if they're the energy efficient ones or not

Don't bother with the c2d is better than amd talk, I know all the info and am going for lower power consumption and the amd x2 works out a damn site cheaper than a merom rig

Sorry don't know but the 3600's X2's look like they are all(?) energy efficient and overclocking extremely well according to reviews. Probably not much help there but if low power and cost are important then maybe worth a look.

look for the 65w normally say which are energy efficient 3600,deffo is and i know theres a 4800 version

yeah I know the 65W (and there was a 35W version listed at one point) for the 3800+ x2's are what I am looking for, its just that OCUK don't actually state what they are selling

These here are what AMD has on its site for the X2 3800+ models. A quick look around didn't turn up any of the 35W versions (least not for sale).
