current amd to intel ?

Well im a AMD Piledriver FX-8 Eight Core 8350 Black Edition 4.00GHz (Socket AM3+) Processor - Retail owner

but i feel like this is my bottle neck in my computer

i got 16gb ddr3 ram and a gtx 980ti

and still sum games FPS aint changed

AMD FX are simple to understand but i have no idea about intel cpu + intel mother boards

sum prices of CPU or more than my gpu but 3.0 ghz 6 core dont seem high compared to 4ghz 8 core ?

anyone explain intel cpu what i looking for in a gaming pc ?

yea i got twin rad watercoller aint had great luck with over clock 4.1 best i get

Should be able to get it a lot higher than that with watercooling. 4.5 at least, maybe 5 if the mobo likes it. What's the motherboard?

gta 5 and ark survival evolved

crosshair v formula-z 990z

and 3d mark dont seem very high

auto over clock mainly on software goes up to 4.1 but cpu dont really got hot

You need to hit 4.5Ghz before checking your fps as it may change somewhat. As above, if you have water cooling then it may be your motherboard that is holding you back. What is it?

A decent board and any FX cpu can hit 4.5Ghz on a half decent cooler.

Not sure that's actually an upgrade, to be honest. You playing at 1080p?

well single has to work better wid most games cpu over clock to 4.4ghz and seems to help most games , yea ultra on mosts at 1080p
