Is anyone else getting an absolute garbage connection with be* at the moment? We normally get around 15 down and 1.5 up, but it's only been around 4 down for a week now.

Today it's 1.3 down and 0.5 up with complete disconnects every 5 mins or so.

Hmm, I can't even stream a youtube video before it disconnects now. Their site says everything is ok though.

Usually hover around 20-30 ping too :(

I had some slow speed issues on the weekend, although my sync speed was still around 19mb down, my actual download throughput was around 10mb where its normally around 17-18mb.

Not sure what its like today.

No problems for me....I am currently downloading the torrent of the HL2 Cinematic Mod and getting 1.4MB/s which is what I normally top out at.

TBH with ADSL it's probably best to post your line stats to see if it's a problem that's individual to you. The weather may be playing havoc with your line, for example.

My speed seems abit better than what it was last night, upload slightly lower than normal though...

Sync Speeds:
DownStream Connection Speed 19131 kbps
UpStream Connection Speed 1416 kbps

Router Stats
ADSL Link Downstream Upstream

Line Attenuation 22.0 db 12.4 db
Noise Margin 2.1 db 2.1 db

Those stats look quite bad :S

I would suggest carrying out all internal testing and try your router in the BT test socket behind the master socket, change all your filters etc.

You normally had 15 down? Your current line attenuation would never allow that, if you're certain you received 15mb~ then you have a line problem.

As it is, your sync rate of 1.5mb is terrible for the attenuation, your noise margin is high and the upstream atten is very very odd (it's normally around half of what the downstream attenuation is).

Try plugging an analogue phone directly in to the master socket (not through a filter) and checking for line noise.

Plug the analogue phone in to the test socket behind the master socket (not using a filter) dial 17070 then press option 2 to do a quiet line test. Then run the same test through the master socket as per above.

Hmm. Line stats are the same with it plugged into the test socket behind the cover.

And no dial tone at all with a phone :( Probably should have checked that first but I assumed since we were getting some internet that it wasn't completely borked.

No dial tone, No don't contact BE, you need to contact BT as it's a voice fault, fixing the voice fault will fix the broadband.

Usually my connection is solid, But last night my DG834GT re-synch like more than 10x in just a few minutes
which is really annoying as I'm lvl up in wow in the end I just stop playing as it is unplayable with constant dc.

If anyone has any issues with BE, I recommend using their forums. Lots of helpful members, and staff monitor it to pick up on any problems too.
