Current best 19" TFT (none widescreen) for gaming!

I'm also looking for the same size and aspect as a secondary screen to my 20" Dell. So I can browse / watch video whilst playing games.

Thought the LG Fantasy TFTs looked nice but there's not really any opinions online about them.

There is nothing better than having 2 of the exact same monitor.

I went from a 17" and 15" LG which was VERY annoying due to resolution difference.

wow those 2 replies couldn't be more off topic if you tried.... :p

i believe the viewsonic vx922 usually gets mentioned as a top gaming 19incher. check the stickies up top for reviews. :)

I can understand 3 monitors but how do people look at dual monitors?

If you sit right between them and look straight ahead, you'll be looking at the gap. Or is it a case of sliding left and right with the swivel chair depending on which screen the action is on? :p

I think my post may have been poorly worded. I have a 20" WS but am wanting a 19" 4:3 for browsing and application use. I was right on topic and looking for the same answer as the OP but my choice of words was a bit misleading :-)

Will deffo check out the 922 tho, thanks for the reply.

upon re-reading, no it wasn't. i mis-read it. sorry.... :p

edit: your needs for browsing/watching videos are different from what a gamer wants and therefore i don't think the vx922 would be the most suitable? but as to what is.... i don't know... :o

You look @ the left one usually most of the time, I myself use the 2nd for sidebar, msn, wmp, nero, etc.. (extra's/background stuff) and the left one for browsing, gaming, etc... ( main stuff ).
Got so used to dual monitors, that each time I get on a pc with one mon, I'm always short of space (windows/screen space that is).

Same here, I look at the left one (sitting infront of it) and the right one is a "secondary" for stuff like outlook/msn/tv/junk. - its not as if I have to look far to see whats on it.

I think I blanked the original post and was replying to what khrest was saying (2 diff monitor sizes suck :P).
