A lake!
Are the OEM and Retail E6300s from the same batches or are they different? If they're different which are clocking better, or is there no difference?

Got a OEM 6300 at weekend, and sitting here @ 3Ghz (with minimal effort!), plenty more to come.

wowsa. is there really much point in getting any of the more faster stock chips if the 6300 performs so well?

Higher multi, higher chance of higher binned chips. Higher overclocks in theory.

Difference between OEM and retail? Nowt.

E6300 4tw. Mine does 3.5ghz easy, and is also stable at 3.6ghz with more juice.

But mine is chilling at 3.1ghz atm, as ive got a lot of uni work to sort out in these last 2 weeks and i don't even want to risk it going **** up :D
