What is the best around at present for photo editing?
Obviously thinking colour accuracy etc.
I know the Dells are/were always very good but still up there?

Might look at going 10bit too?

Not bothered about gaming ability as do very little.

If you've got the money then i'd look at the models from NEC and Eizo for that kind of work, over the more mainstream models from Dell and the likes. NEC have a new PA series out soon (PA272W etc) which would be worth a look. you'd probably want a decent calibration tool as well if colour critical work is your game :)

Thanks for the reply. I had forgotten I posted this!
I would love to go for something like the NEC but I cannot justify the cost as it is really only for home use.
I do want good accuracy but not sure that final few percent versus the cost could be justified for me.

I have wondered whether to get a top quality 24" instead though. I already have an LG IPS231 which is a reasonable ips monitor so for Lightroom I could maybe just use 2 24" together. Not used Lightroom with dual monitors though yet.

How do these two currently stack up overall?
I have heard questions about light bleed on the Dell though.

There is also the 'HM' version but I cannot remember the differences?

I had even wondered about the ultra wide 29" with my current 23" but I guess they are designed more for movies than overall accuracy?
