Current heat wave

With the temperature being 31C in the shade at the moment, what are you guys doing for extra cooling for your rig? My CPU and GPU were idling at 52C. With it being an all-in-one PC, cooling isn't the best and the vents are at the back like on a monitor. Don't think there are any intake vents. I had a spare lap-raiser which powers by USB and contains 5 fans. I took the fans out with the wires still intact and placed them around the air vents. I directed the airflow outwards, same direction as the vents to assist it further. It managed to bring temps globally down 47C.

Jeez that's hot ! It's probably about 25-26'c in my room at the minute and since I've water-cooled it's a dream, in this heat Prime95 tops out at 78'c. Games don't really hit 60c.

Can't wait for the winter and some hardcore benching with the windows wide open heh!

My gpu (TF3 6950@880/1300) idles at 40ish and hovers around 75 when gaming and my cpu ([email protected]) idles at 35-40 and hits 65 when gaming, this is air cooled. Not bad in all honesty considering I don't have blinds at the moment and my room is in the sun all day.

Forget the component temps, what is your rig doing to your room!?

The GF and I both have our computers in the same room, and when they're both on after gaming for a while the heat gets unbearable. Thinking of constructing some kind of elaborate tower fan setup to ventilate the flat!

Its like my own personal sauna in here after its been sunny all day, If my pc has been on all day and i get home from work ive got to open every door and window to try get some air moving and cool down haha
