I got the Gigabyte P35-DS4 but was wondering what is the current motherboard that is the king of overclocking.

In the AMD world during the X2 and Opteron reign the "DFI Ultra-D" was brilliant.

Anything now that is considered a gauranteed bet and only the CPU will be holding you back.

Those days are gone, there are so many decent board out there that will clock the pants of any cpu.

Personally think DFI and Asus's top boards are clocking kings so to speak.

Above average for sure, in terms of overclocking it seems to be better than the DS3R and similar to the Abit IP35 Pros. Only boards on the same chipset that tends to really push the max overclock for quads are Asus's top P5k boards and DFI's T2R

I heard my board will goto 520 fsb. Which will mean i can up my FSB high, lower my multi and not have the CPU issue :D

Why do i think of this now....
