Current setup, new monitor advice please?

Guys, I have £700 to spend

I currently have a dual dell sp2309w with native resolution 2048x1152

I have a 570 sli setup and mainly use it for bf3 and the odd game of FIFA

I have recently moved my Xbox 360 to this monitor via hdmi and will probably continue to use it this way moving forward with new monitor and next gen consoles, as monitors are better than tv for gaming even on Xbox?

I am happy with the dual setup but to sure which monitors to go for and what resolutions are the best etc?

What would be a big I provement over the current monitors?

Just set one of these up today: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MO-003-DG&tool=3 superb quality panel and my poor old 1080 panel that's set next to it looks pants now. 2560x1440 is the way to go! (My poor single GTX 570 is sweating a bit though in Bioshock Infinite at that res)
