Current Spec + £600 = upgrade ?

firstly my quesiton is, is it worth upgrading... been attempting to play hitman blood money and its juddering abit which i cant understand at all.

current spec:

AMD64 3500+
1GB OCZ PC3700 EB
MSi K8N Neo II Platinum
X800 Pro
OCZ 520w - doubt this will need changing ?
74GB Raptor


things i wont be changing
hard drives other than maybe the 74gb raptor (boot drive)
case etc

but if i choose to upgrade what would i get for £600 ?

I guess the obvious upgrade would be another gig of ram and a new graphics card.

but then i'd need to go PCI-E which requires a new motherboard, im unsure as to if i need a new CPU as yet... so i could do with options for upgrading with and without changing the CPU

No point in upgrading, spending all that money without changing the CPU IMO

If you chose to upgrade you could get a very tastey system...

2GB Ram
X2 3800+ (Overclock it to about 2.6Ghz with a decent air cooler)
X1800 XT

And I think that would still come under budget so you could possibly stretch it more depending how much stuff costs, cant look atm because for some reason the catelog is down.

Slightly off-topic, but did you get the patch? A lot of people had juddering issues (I certainly did) and the patch cleaned it right up, I play on quite high settings with a computer far worse than yours. Just a heads-up if you don't have the patch already.
