Current state of GPU and pricing

Is it now more affordable to buy prebuilt systems rather than doing a self build? Im looking at nothing too crazy just a mid range type gaming machine with a 3060 and likely some form of ryzen 5

For awhile it definitely was, but graphics card prices have crashed and availability much improved, so there's not the same degree of benefit anymore.
