Current timeframe on returns from MS for Xbox 360's

Rightio, my Xbox went RROD last night... Was only 5 months old too Need to send it off to MS for fixing. How long are the returns on average taking so far for people that have had to return it? I doubt I am looking before christmas am i?

It was bought from a certain mass marketer high street store with crappy sit at home and do your christmas shopping via catalogue so I'm not sure... Plus I would have to find my reciept.
