Any advice would be great :)
Currently have this setup.
haf-x, Laing DDC 18w with XSPC Reservoir Top,XSPC RX360 , HEATKILLER®CPU Rev.3 .

2600k running at 4.6. volts 1.350 (can't lower without bsod)
prime after 5hrs+ max on cores 72c

i know 72c is not that bad, but after reading few further reviews on my new mobo & other cpu blocks. i am seeing results of other's overclocking which are like "prime 12hrs+ Max temps anything thing from 56-63c" with kinda the same oc that i have. but big difference in temps.

so looking for any advice how to lower it & maybe then let the cpu go higher.
Cpu block was good in it's day, would the likes of the xspc raystorm--EK Supreme ect make that much a big difference?

case has plenty cooling from fans, 3x200mm, 1x140mm 3x120mm

What fans do you have on the radiator?

Couldn't possibly comment if the Raystorm/supremecy is significantly better than the HK3.0, I wouldn't imagine there as allot between all 3.

Have you tried different methods of applying the TIM & different brands? I hit around 62c, 2600K, 5ghz @ 1.39v with a raystorm and more rad space then I'm ever going to need.

You won't see massive differences with a new CPU block, not worth it IMO

Can you hear your pump/is it too loud for you?

I ask as that would be the only thing i may change (to a D5). Ofcourse, that's just me :)

fan set up
2x 200mm at top of case
1x 200 on front "Intake"
1x140mm apache, at back, outake
3x apache 120mm fans on

I 99% sure i have flow rate all going correct way.

Can you hear your pump/is it too loud for you

pumps seems to work fine, not loud, plenty pressure going thru tubes.

Personally I'd look at the radiators and fans - if you can, go for 120mm fans and rads. They seem to be the sweet spot for air pressure/cfm. Scythe GT's or Jyuni's move a lot of air and seem popular.

A new block will give you 2-5C improvement.

Look at the TIM inteface after that...

The pump leave as is - only change that if it physically dies - whether you move 100 or 400 litres of hot liquid per hour doesn;t really matter - it's a closed loop so you need to take the heat out of there as quick as possible.

bought Gelid Solutions GC-Extreme & redone cpu, got volts down little. it's got better.
prime 8hrs+ 60-63 over all cores max.
some questions thou, would i be better replacing the 200mm fans with some decent 140mm fans, also any info if fans in picture should be reversed ect, any help as always be really gratefull.

So your rad is at top?, with fans pulling/fighting against the 2 top fans for air flow?

Looks to me you want the fans on the rads reversing, so they suck air from inside the case and out the top or reverse the top 2 fans so they are in the same direction as the radiator fans.

Reverse the RAD fans!

Also don't bother changing the pump to a D5(unless 18W DDC is too noisy for you). They both perform similarly(DDC better with high restriction blocks)

after changing fans , i am seeing a further drop in temps :)
little 10 mins test on prime, just to get an idea if was doing better. supposed if i drop down to 4 threads would shave another 2-3c of probs :)

max 56,59,57,60. big difference since made this post, thanks to all who gave advice ;)
