Curry's tv guarantee

Anyone had any experience with curry's warrenty on tvs
55" Oled tv is 18 months old and has developed a fault with the screen

They are collecting it tommorrow hopefully to repair it but they did mention they will give a credit if they cannot repair it

TV was £800 and they no longer sell Philips ambilight oled. If they offer a credit I cannot use it as they have nothing suitable and there's nothing close to £800 anyway

i dont want to be in a suituation where i have store credit and it just sits there as they have nothing suitable and also think they might only offer a portion of the oriiginal payment

Anyone had this and what should I expect?

I don't think you will get a full credit the will take some off per year of use. I have never found Currys to be great to deal with. It was always a battle.

ive seen its been repaired, so gave them a call, new panel fitted so hopefull they have done a good job with it
get it back on friday, and looking forward to it the 5 year onld sony thats its temp replacement is horrible in comparison

Is Currys 'loan stuff' Like this? It wouldn't surprise me if it was.

wish currys did loan stuff, had to borrow it from somewhere

tv returned today, all good, screen seems improved as its matt not glossy as before

did laugh at the paperwork, fitted screen which only has 3 months warrenty

theres 7 months left on the tv in total
