Using a new ati 6950 and on my primary monitor I'm getting weird cursor artifacts.
I can't say what's causing it, I'm guessing AMD's buggy drivers would be a guess?

Using the newest version of their drivers (the hotfix) and it only affects my primary monitor, running 3 screens.
Switching monitor profiles doesn't seem to fix it.
Changing resolution doesn't fix it.

The mouse cursor appears doubled up, or sometimes 5 tiny little cursors stacked on top of one another.
highlighting text it also goes into a black block.

Everything else is basically alright, games etc still run fine.

Card running at 60* according to MSI, with 3 screens doing browsing, with lots of programs open etc.
Gets to about 85 running BFBC2 in eyefinity, so I don't think temps are the issue.

Driver issue or?
Never had this happen before.

I think it's a multiple monitor issue with Windows 7, I have this with 3x 2408 monitors and a 5870 and had the same with 2 4850s on Windows 7 too. I don't have a clue whether it's an AMD issue only or what though as I've not tested it with anything else. One of my friends is running a 6950 with 3 U2410s though and they don't have this problem.

Used Nvidia for years, 3 days after I start using ATI it starts up, you know what they say about assumptions, but I'm going out on a limb with one here. :p

How often does the problem present for you?

The problem doesn't come up very often really, very rarely in fact, and a reboot sorts it out.
