Has anyone had this happen to them? You move the cursor, in this case to the right, and it goes past the scroll bar / edge of the page and when you drag it back across on to the desktop it takes an extra second or two for it to appear. It's as if you have an extended desktop which you can't see. The picture looks fine btw. Completely formed pics or words etc.

I've never had that.

I did read about some strange problems before with Ati graphics cards, not sure if this was the issue though

If you go to your display settings you don't have any other screens enabled to you? Sounds similar to how a dual-monitor set-up would work.

No, no other screens enabled. Thanks for the replies so far though.

After a reboot it sometimes doesn't do it. All seemed to happen after giving my video card a clean about a week ago. After putting it back together I put it back in the other X16 lane, since this is directly under the mahoosive case fan. Once restarted it didn't seem to recognise any ATI drivers so after an unsuccessful tinker I reinstalled them and although better I do get one or two other problems, I'm starting to think this all links together.

One is the desktop might decide to change resolution and the other is it occasionally loads up the window asking me if I want to enable crossfire (have the xfire profile drivers). I thought it already was since it is set to standard, anyway the fps would suggest that it is.

Small, intriguing and annoying little quirks going on so my guess now that this is maybe a driver issue.

Arn't PCIe slots like memory slots... in that there's a primary and secondary slot!, and you need to put your card in the primary slot if you only have one?!?!?!...

If so, then maybe Windows is having a flid finding your primary card (as its in the secondary slot)...

Could be wrong though!! :)
