Cursor problem

Hey guys, originally I thought this was a mouse problem but I've worked out it's a something wrong with the monitor or so I believe; while using my monitor my mouse is a thin downward facing line, that almost looks like multiple normal arrows all facing up directly upon each other, while scrolling over other buttons it sometimes changes to some rounded curved blocks ontop of each other, but as soon as I move my mouse to my second monitor it's absolutely fine.

Any ideas?

GPU related was it? What did you discover?

Drivers problem, while installing the Drivers for my monitor (Never thought I'd need one) the install was giving an error, so I had to download from the site, no problems for a few days and today I had that cursor problem, so I went onto the driver and re-installed, went straight back to normal, I'll buy a DVI > HDMI Cable sooner or later anyway.
