I'm currently pricing up a new rig, likely with a 9070xt and I'm in need of a new monitor also.

I'm after an immersive gaming monitor around £400-500

I see the Philips Evnia 34" 34M2C6500/00 is currently on offer, after a quick search it seems to get fairly positive reviews.
Is there anything else to consider at this price point?

4k is also a consideration but I like the idea of an oled panel, which is beyond budget.
Though I'm heading good things about mini led also.

Need help.

32in and 34in are definitely where I'd be looking with your budget for sure (and with BF coming up you should see some v good deals so ideal time to buy). The cheapest I've seen the Phillips UW for is £399 earlier this year which was damn good, and recently the AOC Agon Pro AG326UDAM was £493 so both sizes should be within reach with the right deals.

Remember though, the 34in will be much easier to run considering its lower resolution, 4k can still be quite harsh unless you're running the latest hardware that allows good upscaling/FG etc.

Thanks for the info.

While 4k would be nice, I don't think my budget is really there to make it worthwhile, I'm coming from an ancient 1080p TN panel, so anything is going to be a massive improvement!

I do like the look of the Philips, I also looked at the AOC Agon 34" AG346UCD and wondered if it is worth the extra over the Philips?

The AG326UD looks great, but ideally I'd like to come in at the lower end of the budget, if an amazing deal pops up I maybe swayed.
The Philips for £399 would have been ideal :D

I've been using 34" 3440x1440 ultrawide for years, replaced my 2-3 monitor setup back in the day and didn't look back. It's a good combo for work and gaming but has substantially fewer pixels to power compared to 4K gaming requirements. I switched over while still on a 1080TI :D

It's a great setup. I'd go for 34 over 32 though unless the panel is substantially better on the 32.
