Hi Guys

Can you recommend me a new monitor please. It will be run off an i9 12900k until GPU prices normalise a bit and then it will be run by a 3060 ti.
Its will be used for about 80% office and 20% gaming.

Needs to be IPS
larger than 30"
Curved screen
A res that a 3060 ti can run COD on ultra settings
Budget roughly £700 - £900

Thanks for any help.

Cheers
Gwyn

You have some conflicting requirements.

Working could definitely use 3840x2160 (4K) to have the best image sharpness.
Main reason why even smaller printed text is comfortable to read is its very high PPI resolution.
But can see that graphics card struggling to maintain high fps in the heaviest games even at 2560x1440.
Though in those games 3840x2160 would give sharpness loss free integer scaling from 1920x1080

I see what you mean. It’s a difficult one considering the massive price of GPU’s at the moment. As it’s being used mainly for work, easy on the eye has got to be the priority so
Maybe 4k would be ok. For office work, would the onboard GPU on the i9 be ok to run a 4k monitor?

Have you had a look at what Overclockers has yet?

for work, i would rather have a very wide and curved monitor, like this 49" one below. however, it's not 4k, and as i'm not a gamer, i don't know how much of an issue that would be?

Thanks for that. That’s a bit big to be honest but worth a look.
