Curved Monitors and Glare

For those thinking of purchasing a curved monitor there is one important point that I did not take into consideration when purchasing which I think people should be aware of. Because the screen is curved, it is impossible to adjust the screen angle to reduce glare. With a flat monitor you can angle it to make things easier on the eye. As much as I love the big screen estate of my ultrawidescreen, I am looking fondly again at my old 24" display and laptop combo, because it is just easier on the eyes when working.

I have never had an issue with mine. I would have thought that being curved it would have less of an issue that a flat screen? They all come with anti-glare coating so not sure why you are having trouble. Do you have a light or windows behind you?

Flat surface reflects light into your eyes only when angled perfectly in every axis.
Screen bent by marketroid's rear needs perfect alignment only in vertical direction and reflects lights into your eye from wide horizontal range of directions.

Only stronger anti-glare coating could help with that.
But it has its own issues spreading reflection blotches bigger and making image grainy.
