Curved or Not at 27"

Hi all

Looking to get the missus a new 27" monitor for gaming, Mainly PUBG and Euro Truck simulator 2.

Couple of questions,

Would you bother with Curved?

1080p or 1440p at this size?

I would go non curved and 1440p for 27" personally.

I'd say curved but a slight one. What you could do is print a grid out on a piece of card same scale as monitor then manually bend it at various curves, and see what is ideal, at your viewing distance. You want the horizontal lines to appear straight

I went non curved, I couldn't get on with the curve, made the screen look funny and couldn't see the point

What curve did you try? Mines 1800 it's fine.

at 27" i'd personally always suggest non curved - 32" and above would be where i'd start looking into curved monitors.

At 27" I would go non curved 1440. But 1440 also depends on what graphics card you have.

I went round Currys at the time as I didn't know what I wanted so went round their screen section, once I'd decided flat over curved I went on ocuk and bought a Philips monitor, so I'm not exactly sure the ones I looked at. But the curved screens didn't look right at 27",

32" and over was ok and they wrapped around a bit further,
