custom 680's overclocks

hi al, just wandering what overclocks people are getting on the custom 680's, i read a comment by gibbo that some of these custom cards should be able to hit 1400mhz, is this true or are they similar to reference but with better cooling.
 
They're similar to reference but with better cooling.

The MSI lightning cards are traditionally the best for extreme overclocks.
 
I doubt you would be hitting 1400mhz on 28nm air cooling but upwards of 1300 stable would be a very impressive result. Ideally it would be handy to find out which companies speed bin there cards that way you know the card your buying has been tested for high clock rates.
