How hard to make a decent one you think?

What about cost anyone know prices of acrylic/perspex these days?

Cheers

well i would say you would end up with a lot of wasted plastic due to everything in a pc having to slot in tight

would be better off buying an akasa case.

OCUK used to sell them dno if they still do, was going to buy one once but i go to lan partys a lot etc so it would just get damaged easy.
it would have definetly looked the peice tho

They look great but are a terrible idea in practice - the cooling is generally worse than a metal case and the slightest fingerprint or bit of dust makes looks it look shabby. I built one a year or two ago and sold it very quickly.

i also wouldn't recommend it if your a lazy bugger, had a 'mate' with one, but he was crap at cable management/any management, and it looked like his shoved his kit in a fish tank

£40 worth of acrylic, helps if you have access to tools especially for tapping holes on the tray. going to do some improvements over the summer including finish trimming the edges and better graphics card support. my case was the inspiration behind the ps3 ;)

as for cooling, you can't rely on the case itself to exchange heat. got up to 6 120mm fans in this beast.
