Have been thinking of getting one made for my case, there is only so much I can do with the stock plastic front to make it look nice!

Has anyone seen one of these done before?

Been coming up with a few designs in 3dsmax to get an idea of what I'd like it to look like.
The idea I've worked on today so far has a folding door on the front, with a clean front to it, behind the door the top half is kept tidy, whilst at the bottom there is space for mounting a radiator on the front of the chassis plus space for switches.

I'll be coming up with some more less ambitious ideas later!

Any thoughts on the above aswell as suggestions of what else it could look like?

I think you should have just bought a Lian Li :p

Honestly it's a good idea but you'll have to work on intakes for the front fan when the door is closed

I suppose with it being raised it will allow for air to enter from under and behind the door. Nice design... very clean looking!

I think it would look good with a simple pc7 style front.

You may we'll see one of those far sooner than you were expecting ;)

Lol :)

Already have a Lian Li PC60, no Lian Li I have used has been as nice to work in though. (Yet to have a chance to check out a V series!)
Plus there is so much room for my watercooling!

Nail on the head ;)

Plus if there wasn't a 120.1 radiator on the front there would be even more room there :)

I have been thinking of doing this. I currently have a Chenbro gaming bomb, but love the innards of the Eclipse (helped a mate build in one ages ago), but I HATE the front panel, it cheapens the case imho.

Unfortunately I cant do 3dsmax cool stuff so I would have to design by good ole fashion paper (and I'm not too good at that either!).

I'd love to see how you get on with this PinkFloyd, it might inspire me to do the same.
