Custom build 600 - 700 .

Can anybody spec me a custom build around the £600 - £700 mark please.

Primarily will be used for gaming and a small amount of video rendering. I think I would prefer an i7 (thinking of the future and incase I get into video editing more) but open to suggestions. Definately looking for an Intel chipset - GPU I dont care.

I require everything but monitors, DVD/rw and a PSU

i5 option, which can be overclocked well, free none stock overclocking cooler with m/b and 16gb ram and a good gaming card under budget

What power supply do you have OP?

Id suggest one of zaks build, the one with 7580 and 16gb of ram would be perfect.

Thanks for your suggestions. I have a 650w PSU which might need upgrading but I think it will be OK the handle one GPU?

Regarding OS need not worry I am a tech net member. Should have probably mentioned that.

How does the G43 board measure up to say a p8z77 Asus ?

You could swap the OS out for an ssd, though might take you slightly over budget.

The G43 is voltage locked so you wont be able to overclock the Cpu. I would sooner have one of these boards, but the GB mobo I specced is very good.

An SSD would be a good use of the money. Would make loading your videos faster.

The i5 should do you, though a decent overclock would help pace things along.

Other option is go for the i7, this also isn't a bad idea though the i5 shouldn't struggle.

And as Stulid said, the D3H is the best board at that price-point.
