Hi,

Really disappointed with currently available cases so I'm considering making my own. Doomed to failure no doubt but it would at least be a lot of fun chopping things up and making a mess

Any tips on how to go about this? I have plenty of ideas and things I want to try out but suck at any sort of technical drawing to show what I want

1. Decide what type of case you want.

2. Get some paper and a pen/pencil/Photoshop and design what you want the case to look like.

3. Destroy design as you'll never be able to do it, log onto OcUK and buy a LianLi case.



Joking aside, the first two are relevant. Design something that you think'll work and suits your needs. Source a motherboard tray, HDD racks and CD racks - even if you re-do how these are going to be mounted it gives you a size to work with and design around.
