I`m looking at building my own case but no previous experience. Over the next couple of weeks, time permitting, with the aid of Googlesketch, i hope to design the case i want. Any and all help will be most welcome. Anybody on here actually built their own case? If so, got any advice?

Forget first post, tried using Googlesketch, took me 3hrs just to draw the outline.
Found an old case in the cupboard (had an old Asrock mobo with Amd Athlon socket 402) and stripped it back to chassis. So have decided instead to modify it. Had a word with the old guy at the repair shop down the road. I give him 3 old psu`s and i can salvage anything i need from all of his discarded cases.
Old case measures: H 14.5"x L 15.5"x W 9.5". What i intend to do is raise the height and widen it a few inches. So, armed with my dremel, solder and rivet guns, i`m going to chop it in half and add in the extra few inches.
Let you know how i get on, alter.

Yea, Sketchup, my mistake. Google have loads of video tutorials. I will keep practicing with simple things until i get the hang of it or unless i can find someone who`s good at it, to show me. Always find most tutorials are based on the the premise that you already have some understanding.
