Hi, i've wanted to build my own case for a while and have finanly pulled my fingure out and started putting some ideas together. Heres what i have in mind, Its a sort of two level case with the MB on the bottom and the rest of the system above. The empty space at the back will be used to keep unused wires out of the way and could proably be used if i get any more hard drives.
Any thoughts/critisism/advice appriciated

I'm going to use aluminium to build it but im not to sure on bending it to create a shell etc so i thought of using a sort of skeleton to bolt "floors" to and sides onto. Has anyone tried a case like this?

Thanks

No real reason for putting the MB on the bottom, i never realy look at my MB and i try to get all the fiddling done at one time, although a transparent top would be quite nice. Wont be too hard to swap round as the levels are only 10mm different in height.

Thanks for the link to that thread, i'll give that a read soon :)

Also, where can I get one of those fingures?
Some where no one wants to go.

My current system will be going in, Asus P5Q, C2D E8400 Oc'd to 3825,zalman 9700 LED, 2gb corsair dominator ram, BFG 9600GT 512, 4 hard drives (2x80gb, 1x250gb,1x1.5TB) 2 dvd/cd drives, a floppy drive, corsair 550w psu and will be getting a fan controller.

I have a question about the fan placement. where the graphics card will be there is a fan "bellow" it on the side of the case which i was intending to vent air. I just thought this is drawing air away from the card so will this impede cooling or will the air been blown from the fan infront provide a sufficient amount of air?

Thanks
