hey guys, ive been looking for coilovers for my mk3 polo for a little while now and cant seem to find any decent ones, does anyone know a company that make custom ones? cheers for any help

there was a link on drift works to a company where you choose your own shocks and springs, then they do all the work to make them into coilovers. Can't for the life of me remember where on the site it was or what its called though....
Also i dont remember them being cheap. So i wouldn't bother with them unless this is some epic track polo

so this is a pretty pointless post

Where have you been looking? You can get generic ones for £190 delivered, if all you want to do is go as low as possible.

Which is the MK3 Polo? 6n?

I have a set of Konis, adjustable for both height and damping. Fantastic piece of kit. Think they were ~£750 originally, although I got them second hand for £300.

Try offerings from KW, they have a very good reputation from what I have seen

sign up to the forum if you have to, its a great forum.

I sugest just lowering it through springs and not via coilovers as the price is just not working.

But if you still have it in ur heart to get some then they are in the link above

Osome custom made to order Gaz coilovers which come in at £680

They are expensive as they have to be custom made

To be fair that's still cheaper than a set of Tein Super Streets for my RX7 ;)

Pointless getting custome ones made up unless it's by someone who really knows the car so they can get the valving and spring rates correct.

Get a decent set of heavt duty shocks and springs. Coil overs simply aren't worth the money or time investment for road use, especially if you never bother to get the car corner weighted after fitting them (as most people don't seem to).
