Custom case from MDF, very basic components, used to backup data and render server.

Not quite as massive as the last attempt the Rendiathon back in the day, but with more power this time!

2GB RAM
mATX mobo
350W PSU
Hub
2x 40mm Fans
200GB IDE drive

Case was free
Components were about £300

Run with KVM and VNC

The HDD has been plastic backed so no worries there usually is at 37deg - mainly due to the 40mm fan above it sucking air through the pci-e part of the mobo. The main reason the PSU isn't flush as it was an exercise in minimal design, using the psu as the stabiliser, and the creating of the smallest possible form hence the protrusion of the CPU heat sink. I do wish the PSU was fan less but I was on a budget here.
The colour change represents the removability of the maintenance panels, i.e. red for static, un finished for removable.
