Custom desk case advice pls

Been well bored since downgrading my watercooled 4960X to a lowly Matx 4440 i5

Me 4960x went through a corsair 540 Air, 650D and a 750D case lol (I'm not a fan of cases can you tell? )

Need a new project and really like the idea of getting a new desk too so was contemplating getting a local joiner to assist (I don't have the tools or space unfortunately) with building a custom corner desk.

Initially I want to just stick the i5 system in it for the time being as I'm waiting for AMD's Zen CPU's to invest in a whole new system

Defo want to watercool it once Zen arrives - any advice or recommendations before kick off?

So you want to stuff your PC into a wooden case? There is not much to advise to be honest. Make sure it will have enough ventilation and wont burn down I'd say

I'm thinking more like what type of wood to use, any lessons learnt etc.

Done the watercooling thing in a gazillion cases - bowt time I moved on lol.

There used to be a couple of logs for desk builds but I can't seem to locate them anymore in the relevant section
