custom eq on ipod?

i have a 5g video ipod, latest firmware latest itunes, is there a way to have a custom eq on the ipod? it's possible on itunes, just cant seem to do it on my ipod?

ahh, I've used ipod linux and rockbox before! lol, got ri of it though, was running out of space
