There are several videos of high-end facial interface/cushion combos, these all require 3D scannage with a phone. If a facial interface has a gel pack that solidifies on activation, surrounded by foam, it would mold to the users face and then set. giving you a personalized facial interface. If the interface was passed on to someone else, it could be re-liquified and reset to to a new users facial profile. No phones, no scannage.
