Using Exchange 2010 our design team want us to implement a corporate emai signature deployed at the exchange level on outbound email.

Great easy to do with 2010 or any other sofrware like DisclaimIT, Disclaim, GFI etc.

However they want to use a font that is not a system font, and one we need to obtain.

Does anyone know of a way we can use this font in this situation?

Cheers

I'm not an exchange bod, but surely if it isn't a standard font then when it gets to the other end it'll just be displayed in whatever the recipients default font is, not what was intended?

The only way I think you could really do it is attach a picture of your intended signature

We did consider the image option however it's impractical to generate images for the large amount or users we have as the signature needs to have users names, contact details etc

Stupid marketing dept using a non standard font

I think you need to show them the font working internally and then failing to display correctly externally. I don't think just explaining it to them will do the job.

Of course you could approach every company you send e-mails to to install the font on everybody's PC. I'm sure their IT departments will understand that your marketing bods need their egos stroked...

I think you need to take some inspiration from the BOFH for when you next deal with them.
