Evening All,

Bit of an obscure one here but has anyone here bought a custom flag with their own design to take to the football? If so where about did you buy it from and what was the quality like?

:)

I've used Barmy Flags before and they were fine :)

Just give them a ring though and ask them about thickness, if that's what you're worried about..

Brechin, i've been there. Saw St Johnstone v Brechin back in like 2004.. Lovely little stadium

That's the place that the boys have been looking at for the flags. I'm sure i read on their site it was something like 110gsm polyester knit flags that they do.

I was also looking at Designmyownflag.com as the design I'd like to have is slightly different to the usual set designs Barmy Flags offer.

Lol...will the that come out well in the flag? Great idea though..

I'll be firing an email through to the folk to see. I have no doubt the image is good enough to print large scale (I took it :)) but i think the normal standard flags are more large blocks of colour rather than a hedge :D

Yeah it's the printing that would look like a Mario Level or something :D Not the image itself, it's a good pic. I went past Meikleour beech hedge back in the day.....it's pretty cool. You must have gone past it as well..

I've had an image of mine printed on an 8ft poster before so the flag being 6ft x 4ft should be fine. My original Photoshop file is actual size and it looks ok so hopefully the print quality will match the image.

I had to google the Meikleour hedge but I knew which one it was albeit couldn't remember the name! Been past it a few times although its been a good few year since the last time.

You have any luck? You should post a pic when you get it, i'm interested to see what the quality is like with that image..

You should ask on redandwhitekop, quite a lot of flags that go to Anfield get started on there and well they look the best.

My mate got the flag he wanted printed from Barmy Flags, which I'll post up after tomorrow's match at Dunfermline ;) Will probably get the one I want ordered up shortly. Been quite chaotic with work and football recently.

Vinyl banner printers are your best bet if you want anything with graphics on. Otherwise it's a trip to your local fabric shop for the main part and then get some sticky letters....or handy with cotton and thread :)
