has anyone who has no luck with in ear earbuds, fall out, uncomfortably etc. Tried custom ones and if so did you get on with them?

I have custom IEMs and know people who've just had custom moulds that they use with their universal IEMs. As long as you use an audiologist who knows what they're doing you get a perfect fit and superior isolation (silicone is better than acrylic in this regard).

I've got a set of ACS T1s and a set of custom mould shells for my Shure Se530s and Se535s

The shells were tbh the best value. T1s cost far too much but do sound absolutely amazing.

Really do recommend ACS service though. Got the impressions done in London and had the shells within 7 days. T1s took a little longer, about 4 weeks.

Need to get some done for my current bluetooth Nuforce Be6i. But the comply black olives work pretty well.

If I got another pair of balanced armature customs their Encore's would be high on my list. Much easier and less hassle dealing with UK company too.

where did people just get the shells form? i cant see just the shell on the acs webpage just full headphone and ouch at price.

Huh... They've stopped doing them. Well that sucks, may well need to replace mine soonish. Time to go hunting. :(

And yes, the prices for the full customs IEMs are painful.

that's a shame I thought I was looking in the wrong place.

I cant find any cheaper than £160 for just the sleeves.
Surly there's cheaper than that?
that's a lot to spend on something i'm not sure will be great and the Snugs are "only" £200 for full system. Seem to do the impresions at big boots stores.

I got a pair of Custom Art Music One's — got the moulds done at an audiologist and posted them to Poland.

They sound fantastic and the isolation is incredible. However, this is really their downfall — I can hear my pulse the fit is so good. If I walk I can hear every footstep as a loud booming and I get a lot of cable noise if I move my head. Forget about eating with them in as well.

So they're brilliant for sitting still and completely blanking out the world, but I can't really use them for day-to-day activities.
