Hey guys, I'm doing a custom loop into the SM580, I don't have much space left since I'm using a 280 x 45 and a 120 x 27mm radiators so not sure I can fit a reservoir, what's the easiest way to fill a loop without reservoir in your experience? I always had loops with reservoirs

i've always had loops with reservoirs too, but i can see 2 options.

Depending on which radiators you are using, some have an additional port beside the inlet/outlet ports for bleeding and filling, you could use that as a fill port.. or, to add a T-adapter in your loop with a bleed valve.. then connect a G1/4 fitting to the end of that and slowly pour in water and closing the valve to circulate the water

Traditionally you'd use a T piece with some tubing on. But then you'll end up with a random extra tube that needs blanking. At the end of the day it will make filling and bleeding a fiddle.

Is your pump near the bottom of the loop? Ideally you'll then fill near the top and into something large like a radiator.

there would be 1 x 120 mm radiator under the pump, but then again, not sure where to position it yet, as I might be able to fit an ek pump/combo res, but it's tight
