My Scythe just isn't cutting it cooling my OC'd Q6600, so I am planning on moving to a Watercooled setup.

I've put together the following parts, does it look like it would do the job?

EK-Supreme CPU - Acetal
12V Laing DDC-1T Plus Ultra w/Alphacool Top
XSPC R120-D
XSPC Bay Reservoir - Clear Acrylic
Noctua NF-S12 1200RPM 120mm Quiet Fan x 2
1/2" Clear High Flex Hose (XSPC)
Feser One Cooling Fluid - UV ACID GREEN x 2
PVC Hose Clip 1/2" (10 Pack)

All that will be going in an Akasa Eclipse, with either the rad mounted in the floor of the case or on the back with a radbox.

Have I made any major boo boo's anywhere? Also, my rig goes to LAN's every 3months or so, will I be alright moving the case about while filled?

Thanks for all the help! :)

you've picked some good kit there, i may also suggest the d-tek fuzion cpu block, but the EK supreme is also looking to be a very good block, not sure if there are any direct comparissons with each other yet.

I also agree with the rad, the thermochill PA series are the best you can get, definately woth the extra money.

Resevoirs aren't really needed, they are there for convenience really, to help you fill/drain the loop more easily, and they also look pretty sweet (imo)

The EK supreme does seem to beat the FuZion with nozzles but it's all very close. As Cob suggested, I recommend the Swiftech Micro reservoir too. The XSPC bay reservoirs are better than most bay res' due to the acrylic tab above the outlet to stop cavitation.

A PA120.1 can remove 210 watts of heat from water with a high CFM fan that's around 41dB of noise and a flow rate of 2GPM (Source: TC technical data) and a Quad at 3.6Ghz 1.55v puts out about 250watts although I believe that's a B3.

The 120.1 radiators will do it, but it won't be quiet.

Also 7/16th hose please on 1/2" barbs. Better seal, no performance loss and just as good bend radius.
