hi all,
I've been asked to create a new address book with all our customers contact details in.
I've then been asked to filter the content for each sales person so they can only see the customer that they deal with.
As i don't want to create 200 different address books, I've created a folder in AD called customer contacts, I've added a load of windows contacts into this ou with the correct details.
My plan is to add a attribute to each contact detailing who the named rep is for the customer.
I then want to create a ldap filter so only the contacts with the users %username% in the 'reps' field are shown.
2 questions;
1 - am i asking for a golden egg? or is this doable?
2 - how do I go about creating a custom ldap filter for outlook 03/10/13
thanks
