Custom LED lighting and where to buy?

I'm looking to get hold of a 5 LED setup on a molex connector, anyone know where to get them? See below for an example of a single LED version.

Wouldnt be hard to knock one up yourself, got a soldering iron?

Yes just no cable, LED's, heat shrink, shrouding or resistors.

I'm hoping someone here does and might be kind enough to build me one, I have an MM thread up but posted here as well for exposure.

Do you know if they can be cut? If so can LED's be removed from just the end or say mid way in the chain?

Ive not modded any yet but its only a case of cutting and re soldering.
a 5 led strip is fine for a water res though .

Are you sure it's all about cutting and soldering ? I've made my own strip consisted of 8 LEDs, so I had to put 3 resistors there (each for every sub-string of LEDs: 1 for 2LEDs and 2 for 2 subsx3LEDs), so if you cut my strip it wouldn't work at all, but if you cut in appropriate places there's a chance it would work, but one sub-string would shine brighter (like last two LEDs for example)

It's all about wires inside and maths: how many resistors is put for which LEDs - unless you don't know it, you can't be right.

Exactly, I'm no wizz with electronics and although it might only take me a day to learn the necessary concepts it's much easier to have someone who does know and has all the parts and tools make one for me.

£15 Plus a bit more for some custom LED's he doesn't have on stock
