Hey guys, im looking for a custom loop im a extreamly new to Watercooling how ever ive been reading up and stalking the threads lately. I was wondering if somone would be nice enough to quote me a suitable loop for CPU and GPU cooled.

2500K
GTX 560
800D case

If anyone has a spare few mins, every peice of advice is highly appreciated.

Cheers.

thanks for the reply, no more than 375 pretty much. Also i dont actually have the 560 yet so i guess i could always upgrade to the 580, the system is more for a hobby, and self achivement i guess - personally it means a lot to have both in watercooling being the first time doing it.

I guess the OCUK V12 is every bit as good as a custom loop no advantage over the custom loops really?

thanks again.

The V12 is meant to be the best of the best kit that OCUK sells, the real trouble with watercooling is that most products are not so much better than each other, it mostly comes down to personal preference.

When I was looking into it, I went through the V12 kit and added the bits I liked to my basket and swapped some bits I didn't like, e.g. I kept the pump, res and rad, but I got rid of the fans as I wanted Vipers and I changed the tubing to UV blue.

There are a few stickied posts at the top of this forum that will help you understand better and give you some ideas as to what you want, there are also the project logs (in the cases section) that you can look through to get ideas:

Hey thanks for that guys, i'll be reading up more when i get home from my christmas dinner; I spent a big chunk of last night reading up on GTX 580 anyways so i think i'd be keeping the 580 block. Slightly unsure weither or not to go for a 1.5 or 3gig card though. To be honest the 1.5 would be fine but if your paying 350 for it its probably just worth paying the extra 100 to upgrade it. I know thats off subject but any thoughts on that?

I like the look of that loop cleeecooo; think i'd change the colour of the coolant though! Is 1L enough i've been reading in places that 1.5-2L is much safer to have?

Pengu1n I was thinking about going for the whole UV look aswell - started redecorateing my bedroom at the moment so im thinking more of a blue theme now.

Thanks again

not really worth it TBH... if you're playing at 1080p?

1l is enough, but i'd strongly recommend getting 2:) Also, aurora fluid isn' for everyday use and you have to change it every 6 months, you may be better of going for pastel

make sure you go for LED's over cathodes for UV :)

Thanks again
