Hey,

I play bass atm, want to learn guitar aswell. Be a multi person lol. I want a custom one though as I cant find anything I really like.

anyone know places that are reliable that make custom made guitars?

You're looking at spending a LOT of money for any custom made guitar.

Try carvin guitars, they do stock body shapes, but you can choose your colours, hardware type, woods etc.

If you actually want one made to your spec, including new body shape etc. its like ordering a custom rolls royce - you wont get anything decent and affordable.

I build guitars for a living, and as others have said buying a custom guitar is very very expensive.

My prices start at around £1600 but for that your not getting anything special, just a strat look a like with off the shelf parts.

A custom built body and kneck etc is gunna set you back atleast £3k and thats with off the shelf hardware.

If you want a truly custom built guitar where i'll cast your machine heads by hand, make pick ups to your spec and have lots of abalone detailing then your upper budget is only as big as your imagination

Its all off the shelf stuff pretty much, someone somewhere would have ordered your guitar exactly as you did!!
