In essence: I work from home. Typically ill spend 10+ hours per day in the office room as both my personal machine and work laptop are side by side. There is nothing really wrong however, it’s not exactly how I want it.
Start (old desk).
Day 1.
Day 2: The carpenter recommended I go with a 28mm worktop so I selected solid oak. It added a fair bit to the overall total, however, the design was going to be a lot simpler.
He also built a cable gutter.
Day 3: Finishing Touches.
Each cabinet has been primed twice ready for painting.

I now need to paint the cupboards, as they are fully primed plus pick up a new home monitor. I do have another Acer monitor spare however 3 monitors look too much. I think I am going to order a new 30''. Some prints for the wall etc and some cable management ties etc and ill be set.
Most of the budget was taken up by the worktops (£180 each x2), oil and primer.
Total build £900 labour and materials.
I am extremely happy as I was originally quoted £2,900 from a home office company.
